Your first Gym awaits...

1. PokeCenter.  You may want to use this if you had a tough time through the Viridian Forest, though it will probably be a good idea to use it just to refresh your Pokemon's moves.

2. PokeMart.  You probably shouldn't need this, but if you want to stock up on a few things before you hit Mt. Moon, stop in.  You can buy:

-PokeBall $200
-Potion $300 (heals Pokemon by 20 HP)
-Escape Rope $550 (escapes to last PokeCenter visited when in a cave)
-Antidote $100 (cures Pokemon of poison)
-Burn Heal $250 (cures Pokemon of burns)
-Awakening $200 (wakes a sleeping Pokemon)
-Paralyze Heal $200 (cures Pokemon of paralysis)

3. Museum.  You can't really do much here, unless you're just bored.  You can pay $50 to get in, then look at some fossils and exhibits before leaving.  Just be sure to come back when you have Cut to get in the back door and receive and Old Amber.

4.  Pewter City Gym.  See below.

Pewter City Gym.  This Gym shouldn't be too hard if you have Squirtle or Bulbasaur, however, if you chose Charmander as your starter, you may have a tough time with this Gym. These are the Pokemon trainers in the Gym:

A. Jr. Trainer Male ($220 for winning)

-Lvl 11 Diglett
-Lvl 11 Sandshrew

B. Brock ($1386 for winning)

-Lvl 12 Geodude
-Lvl 14 Onix

You will also receive TM 34 Bide, and the Boudlerbadge, which will allow you to continue on to the next Gym.

Now head east to Route 3.

...Back to Viridian Forest                                                                                  On to Route 3...
